Britain has a new heir.
The Royal Baby arrived yesterday amidst fanfare all across the globe.
Prince William and wife Catherine announced the 8 pound 6 ounce baby boy to the world this afternoon after leaving a London hospital.
The yet-to-be-named baby is now third in line for the British throne behind his grandfather Charles and father William.
Both mother and baby are doing well.
